Animal Personality: Valerie is the most affectionate cat we know. It seems her previous owners trained her to give hugs and kisses. She is an adult, so she has passed the kitten stage of unlimited energy and is now a true lap cat. Valerie is a real cuddlebug. Unlike most cats, if you fall asleep with her in your arms, there's actually a chance she'll still be there when you wake up. Valerie wants to snuggle constantly and will find any excuse to climb up on your lap, give you a hug and a kiss, and stay with you until your heart's content.

Animal History: Valerie followed us to our door one evening, eager to experience human contact, food, and shelter. She was an immediate sweetheart, and we were sure she must have been someone's pet. We spent the next week doing everything in our power to locate her parent(s), but no one came forward for her. We couldn't imagine how anyone could abandon such a sweetie. She was then accepted into the foster program and is now in search of her forever home.
