Animal Name: Dixie
IAR ID#: C-11-241
DOB: 2008-07-01 (4 years old)
Gender: Female
Animal Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
Color and Coat/Fur Type: Dixie has a beautiful soft coat of orange & white with lovely green eyes. Her left ear looks somewhat deformed as she had an infestation of ear mites that had never been treated until IAR found her.
Animal Personality: Dixie is a very sweet and loving girl, still somewhat shy around strangers. She takes her time and investigates new things cautiously. She loves to play rough & tumble with her foster friends and and will never shy away from a good toy to wrestle and kick around. Dixie loves to roll around on her back waiting for petting and belly rubs. Dixie had bad gingivitis and had to have 12 of her teeth removed. With the care and financial support of Gray Tuggle's Triangle Pet Rescue and Dr. Kirch of the Cat Hospital, Dixie's teeth were pulled and she no longer has pain in her mouth! She is very grateful to this day for all the love and care that she received from everyone to make her happy and able to enjoy life to the fullest. Dixie is now looking for her forever home where she will be cherished forever.
