Lily Mae is a black, shiny cat with faint stripes and green/yellow eyes.

Lily Mae described in one word is "sweet." She is an extremely soft, loving kitten. She is not a large attention seeker and often is in the background to her foster mates. During feeding time, she patiently waits until all of the other kittens are done to get her share. Lily Mae has a cute chirping meow and will talk to you when she wants attention. She also knows her name and will sometimes come when called. rnShe really enjoys being pet and will lick you or gently nibble on you to let you know of her happiness. Headbutts are included and she may also give you kisses if you are close enough to her. Sometimes Lily Mae will snuggle up next to you, but usually she prefers to sleep in the cat tree or at the foot of the bed. rnShe is also very well behaved and listens to you if she is doing something and you tell her no. Lily Mae gets along well with her kitten foster mates and our adult cats. She is also okay with our dogs. Lily Mae is very shy at first and adoption events stress her out. She will take a long time to adjust to a new situation, but once she builds trust, she is an amazing companion. Talking to Lily Mae and hearing her chirp-like meows will melt your heart! She would probably be best in a home without very excitable dogs as she hides when our hound dog chases and jumps around her to play.
