All About Me

Cooper is a light orange tabby boy with brown eyes, long fur, and gigantic ear tufts and toe tufts. He now has a puffy plume tail and knows how to show it off. He is big for his age and promises to be a gentle giant.

Cooper is a wonderfully sweet and affectionate boy - he's very happy-go-lucky and just a bit goofy. He is trusting enough to be held like a baby, and he purrs and makes biscuits in the air when you hold him like that. He sticks close to his people, and often follows on your heels closely, even at the risk of getting stepped on. While he is laid-back and loves to snuggle, he is also still full of kitten energy. Cooper will need a cat or kitten friend for rough and tumble games, and a bit of room to run and climb. He loves racing up and down the steps. Like some other very physical kittens, he occasionally mistakes your arm for a toy - we are working on that, but he is probably better suited to a home with no small children.

History

Cooper and his sister Phoebe appeared in one of our feral cat colonies in Durham at about 7-8 weeks of age. They were already accustomed to people, so don't seem to have been born there. Cooper was emaciated and had the thinnest coat of fur and a big pot-belly. He is changing every day into a gorgeous healthy kitty.
