Mochi is a very sweet and affectionate kitten with a zest for life. She loves to run, jump and play with her kitty friends or tumble in boxes with lots of brown paper. One of her favorite things is cuddling with her humans. Mochi is extremely loving and purr-full. She will love you forever and ever.

MOCHI NEEDS YOUR HELP. Mochi was rescued as a sickly, 2 week old kitten who was bottle fed until 6 weeks of age. She was always a small and frail kitten, struggling to gain weight.
Recently Mochi was diagnosed with a extra-hepatic portosystemic shunt which allows blood to drain into systemic circulation without first filtering through the liver for detoxification. IAR is working to ensure that Mochi can have the surgery she needs to live a normal life. Without the surgery, Mochi will likely live only a short time.
