Lyra is a beautiful and petite tortie. She has one unique tuft of long fur on her back.
Are you looking for a lap cat? If so, Lyra is your girl! She loves attention and will follow you until you sit down so she can cuddle up next to you. She also loves to give head bumps and talk to you with a tiny little mew sound that is just adorable! She is still a young girl and loves to play with toys or anything she can make into a toy. <p>Lyra has been spayed, fully vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed and has been on flea prevention since she arrived in foster care. She had a bad experience with another cat before coming to us, and we think she would do best as an only cat, although it's possible that she could make a friend if the right cat came along.

Lyra and her 4 kittens were found in the woods under some bushes by a young couple. The kittens were less than 4 weeks old and despite being outside, were fat and healthy. Lyra was incredibly thin because she had given all she could to keep her babies healthy. Since arriving in foster care, the babies were weaned and moved to a new foster so Lyra could focus on her own health. She gained weight nicely and has been very healthy.
