Animal Name: Pebbles
IAR ID#: D-11-052
DOB: 2011-04-15 (1 year old)
Gender: Female
Animal Weight: 40 lbs.
Dog Breed(s): Pit Bull Terrier / Dalmatian Mix
Physical Description: Pebbles is a beautiful white Dalmation mix. Her black spots peppering her nose, belly, and back charm everyone she comes across.
Animal Personality: Pebbles is an absolutely enchanting, inquisitive, and playful puppy. She enjoys chasing leaves, eating bugs, and making friends at the dog park. Her curious nature often leads her to gaze inquisitively at the television or a talking person. After a 20-30 minute run or romp with friends, she can often be found taking a breather to chew on a bone followed by a good afternoon nap. Pebbles is a very intelligent pup who promises to be a natural at obedience class! She understands 'sit,' 'stay,' 'down,' and 'leave it' with visual and oral cues and doing well with leash training and recall. She sleeps calmly in her crate, rides well in cars, and is becoming accustomed to regular bathes and nail clipping. Though she stays in a crate when unattended, she is reliably house trained in our home and gives ample notice when she has to go. Pebbles is socialized daily with other people and dogs and is gaining comfort in more urban environments. She absolutely adores children and dogs of all sizes but would need supervision during play with younger children and smaller dogs. She'd thrive in an active household with daily exercise where she can continue to learn with zeal and experience life with her new owners!
