Animal Name: Beaufort
Meet Me @ PetCo Renaissance Pkwy (27713) Saturday 6pm-7pm
IAR ID#: D-12-060R
DOB: 2012-01-01 (1 year old)
Gender: Male
Animal Weight: 35 lbs.
Dog Breed(s): Hound Mix
Physical Description: Beaufort, or "Beau" as we call him, is tan with a cute black nose and is medium-sized. He is most likely fully grown, though he may fill out some more. He's likely a mix of hound, shepherd, lab, boxer, or something else - someone told me he looked like a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Whatever he is, he's super cute! His short coat doesn't require much attention and he is a medium-shedder. His ears are very soft too!
Animal Personality: Beau is a comical, attentive, affectionate dog. He would love nothing more than to romp outside in your fenced yard, maybe with a canine friend or two, and then run inside and fall asleep on your lap. He did very well in puppy class, and is a quick learner. Beau loves playing with his foster sisters, a lab mix and an older beagle. He does not do well in settings with a lot of dogs, such as a dog park, but would love a home with another dog that enjoys tumbling around as much as he does. He would also be fine as an only dog, since his devotion to humans knows no limits. Beau should not go to a home with children under ten years old, as he does not do well with energetic young children. His ideal home includes a fenced yard for him to romp around in, and an owner who enjoys snuggles and working with him to make him the best dog he can be. That is all he asks for in return for his unwavering devotion to you. Beau is crate-trained, house-trained, and adorable!
