Animal Name: Honeysuckle
IAR ID#: D-13-009
DOB: 2012-11-15 (6 months old)
Gender: Female
Animal Weight: 15 lbs.
Dog Breed(s): Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Physical Description: Honeysuckle is a white fluffy pup! She has adorable floppy ears that perk up when she's paying attention and a longer, retriever-like snout.
Animal Personality: Ever the charmer, Honey is as eager as she is dainty. As she lived outside with her mother, Lily, for most of her young life, she's a tad on the shy side but she grows more social every day and her shyness adds to her charm. Her current favorite playtime activity is to daringly run up to a nearby person, press her nose to a hand or swat her paw at a foot, and dance backwards before running away happily, hopeful for a chase. Honeysuckle currently resides in an active foster home with her mother, Lily, a senior golden named Rusty, and four adoring twenty-something co-foster parents. She's working on house-training and sleeps contently in a crate at night and for day-time naps. She knows "sit" and is working on giving attention, recall, and walking on the leash. She'll be fun to take to puppy class and will make a terrific addition to any of a number of active households!
