He is very eager to please and wants nothing more than positive attention. He is house and crate trained and knows basic commands. He walks great on a leash. He and his sister as a pair form a pack and do not like to have another dog around, however, if they are separated I am sure he will enjoy the company of another companion. He loves cats and kids and wants them to love him just as much. Lilly is a goofball and loves being the center of attention. She is the best snugglebug! She has never met a stranger and instantaneously makes a best friend. Lilly is a little more curious and inquisitive than her brother, Eli. She explores and is more independent. She loves playing frisbee or playing catch or just playing tag with Eli in a fenced in yard. Lilly is also house and crate trained and knows basic commands. Lilly loves kids and cats and wants to play with everyone. Lilly would like to have another companion if she is not able to go with her brother.

Ernie

- Animal Name: Ernie
- Listing Date: 03/06/2013
- Date of Birth: Approx. 5 yrs old
- Weight: 45 lbs
- Breed: Boxer/Pitbull Mix
- Physical Description: Beautifully marked red and white female boxer/pitbull mix, who is spayed and up to date with all shots.
- Personality Description: Ernie is very energetic and a loyal companion to her owners. She is a masterful ball chaser who loves to play and have fun, not only on land but in the water! Ernie has been through several training courses and learns commands very quickly (especially with the aid of a treat!). While she is very lovable, she would not be suited in a house with young children due to her excessive energy.
- Spayed/Neutered: yes
- Vaccinations: Current, includ. heartworm
- Animal History: Ernie was left in the home that her owners were evicted from. Luckily some neighbors reported hearing a dog in the abandoned house and she was taken in by the pound, where they provided a little extra TLC, feeding and caring for Ernie, before listing her on their site. We have enjoyed her company for the past four years, but as we are expecting our first child soon and will not be able to provide the attention that she requires, we need to find a loving home for Ernie.

The elderly couple pleaded with the neighbor to take the poor puppy off their hands, and that family has fostered the pup ever since.
